Animation baking

Collision backgrounds

Walking Surfaces

Define the direction of the 3D rigged and 4D walking people – the terrain, stairs, and ramps, where they can walk, climb, stand or run. Walking surfaces are essential, when placing paths and areas.

Blocking Surfaces

Define obstacles like walls and furniture that constrain where Anima people can move. Blocking surfaces help design the paths, place areas, and create avoiding areas.

Clipping features

Allow you to slice a building to its different floors and quickly place actors in multi-level scenes, hence giving access to parts of the building that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Control character interactions and socialization animations like the time characters spend in the area, the type of motions they perform in the area, and more.

Character distribution controls

Use the grid mode to distribute crowds or tiered seating in socializing areas, divided in 2D grids. Use the marker mode to control character distribution with one or more point markers.

Compatibility

If you use 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya, or Unreal Engine, you will be able to import and render the scenes and characters generated with anima through the plugins supplied with the product. These models require an active anima license to operate.
