Hybrid Snare Drum Synthesizer
SnareClack is a hybrid electronic snare drum generator and synthesizer that is easy to use, yet powerful and compact.
At its heart, SnareClack makes use of genuine 16-bit integer precision digital synthesis techniques (widely used on late-90s hardware devices) together with a modeled DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) circuit with saturation control.
Finally, a built-in stereo expander circuit makes SnareClack a self-contained device capable of producing snappy, large, electronic drum snares for EDM, Techno, Trance, Ambient music and far beyond.
SnareClack Features
- Accurate physical modeling simulation achieved by the adoption of the Advanced Component Simulation (ACS) approach (See more about this in the details tab)
- Full 64-bit processing accuracy for every single aspect of the simulation
- A complete, self-contained, hybrid digital-analog electronic drum snare generator device
- Two independent (Tonal/Noise) digital synthesis layers featuring late-90s, genuine 16-bit integer precision algorithms
- Modeled DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) circuit with saturation control
- Built-in stereo expander circuit
- Including 50+ ready-to-use factory presets collection covering multi-genre styles
- MIDI automation
- Support for sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 192 kHz
- Available in multi-size GUI resolutions
The SnapLab Collection
The SnapLab lineup is a collection of carefully designed, useful and compact multi-genre virtual instruments, sound generators and effects processors.
Each one of the virtual devices in this lineup is specifically intended to have a very particular focus and scope, a simple, easy-to-use interface and it is meant to be available at a fair and affordable price.
Much more than simple gizmos – just collect ’em all!
Description
Advanced Component Simulation
Advanced Component Simulation (ACS) represents a set of technologies adopted by Xhun Audio to faithfully simulate the physics, architecture and behavior of electronic, electro-acoustic and acoustic components that can be found inside a musical instrument or effect – like an analog synthesizer, a tape echo unit, an electric guitar, a french horn, a violin, etc.
This approach allows the components to be modeled after their original architecture, preserving their physical properties – including their own micro-imperfections and instabilities.
Instruments and effects built by using the Advanced Component Simulation (ACS) approach will naturally prove a higher degree of genuineness and accuracy.
System Requirements
Compatibility
- Windows 64-bit: VST(2.4) , VST3
- macOS 64-bit: VST(2.4) , VST3 , AU
Required configuration
- Operating Systems:
- Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 (64-bit)
- macOS version 10.7 or above (64-bit) / Not natively compatible with macOS Catalina (version 10.15)
- Formats:
- VST(2.4)

- Multi-core CPU is recommended.
About macOS compatibility:
Xhun Audio products are fully compatible with all Apple macOS operating systems up to macOS Mojave (version 10.14).
Xhun Audio products are natively compatible with any Intel-based Mac, but can also run on an ARM-based Mac using Rosetta 2.
Although running the software on M1 macOS (Apple CPU) is possible using Rosetta 2, Xhun Audio strongly recommends to download and try the demo version before buying.
