Use Proxy Mode with Twixtor in Premiere Pro for Smooth Editing
Lori Freitag from RE:Vision Effects gives you some tips on improving Premiere Pro editing workflow with proxies when using Twixtor on high-resolution footage. Twixtor is a tool to dynamically change the video speed.
Note from Lori: Using Proxies with 4K footage in Twixtor is not a real-time effect in Premiere, so at 4K, you might have non-responsive playback even with GPU on.
