Description
Design any Sound Effect with 9746 Assets
Weaponiser Fully Loaded comes with a variety of six Krotos sound libraries included at a fantastic value. Choose from a diverse range of library categories, easily accessible through the tag-driven browser via simple drag-and-drop. Import these into Weaponiser’s customised engines to design your components and layers with ease – Onset, Body, Thump and Tail.
Weaponiser also includes a huge range of designed presets, straight out of the box to get you started immediately.
Endless Variation with Speed and Precision
Create dynamic, responsive sound design and add in-depth variation to your sound effects quickly and easily in Weaponiser. Add speed and amplitude variation to any bank in any of the plugin’s four engines, and load up to five samples into each bank. That’s up to 80 different assets to be chosen on every trigger, with variation on 32 parameters!
Sync to Picture with MIDI Triggering
Use MIDI to trigger your engines and velocity sensitivity to programme or perform precise variations to your design. Trigger the entire plugin, or individual engines via MIDI. Use automation or controllers, and trigger each engine from your DAW timeline to sync with footage.
Your FX Panel
Utilize our FX panel and to subtly tweak or totally destroy! Further chain your FX to effortlessly build up complex signal flows.
The FX modules included are:
- EQ (5-bands, multimode)
- Saturation (8 different algorithms)
- Compressor
- Limiter
- Ring Modulator
- Transient Shaper
- Flanger/Chorus
- Noise gate (with sidechain)
Timeline
The timing and arrangement of the engines can be sequenced and offset by using the colour-coded built-in timeline. This allows more precise micro-timings between engines, and also additional flexibility through variation each time a sound is triggered.
Hit the Fire button to audition, activate Burst mode to create automatic bursts from one-shot assets, adjust the rate for creating different loop speeds, or press the Drunk button to randomise your timeline sequences, for subtle or wild changes in sound.
The timeline contains four waveforms, color-coded and matched to each engine.
- Onset
- Body
- Thump
- Tail
Reverb
Built in impulse response reverb for precise control of spatialisation and some interesting creative possibilities! Choose from the 39 included impulse responses or import your own. Trigger the reverb on the release of the fire button or MIDI note, allowing a cleaner mix or extra control when in Burst Mode.
Bank and Burst Mode Flexibility
Switch between random/round robin asset cycling per bank, and also allow Burst Mode to operate in round-robin mode, incrementing files in banks per round. Filling your banks with assets and randomising them decreases the chance of ever hearing the exact same sound
Mixing Capabilities
Weaponiser’s mixer includes panning per engine and a Multi-Mode EQ (with a range of filter types supported on all bands) for each engine FX slot. This makes the mixing process easier and gives you tighter control over your sounds.
Tail Mode
A ‘Tail On Release’ system allows a tail to be triggered on the release of the fire button or MIDI note, making it easy to achieve a cleaner mix or extra control over tails when in Burst Mode. Use ‘Tail Mode’ to automatically set up or reload a sound in the tail engine, which will be triggered every time a burst finishes.
Export for Post-Production and Game Audio
Weaponiser allows the output of each engine to be routed back to your DAW with full flexibility for mixing or rendering layers of your design.
Easily combine Weaponiser with your existing workflow or process individual engine outputs and your favourite plugins with ease. Break out your sound elements onto a mixer for intuitive tweaking and dynamic mixing, and quickly render layers to your DAW or to export into a game engine or audio middleware solution.

Change Log
What’s new in Weaponiser 1.4?
Sound improvements: Weaponiser now sounds better than ever!
Weaponiser sounds better than ever, with improvements to the core engine. Transients and high frequency response are improved across all material and sample rates.
Workflow improvements: work even faster and more efficiently
In response to your feedback Krotos has made a series of tweaks to how Weaponiser displays sample information, and how you can edit and access assets.
- The file name of the currently loaded sample will now display in the sample engine in the plugin. This is especially useful when loading multiple sounds into Weaponiser’s bank system, where choosing the correct asset to delete from the dropdown could get tricky.
- Long file names are automatically scrollable when displayed in this area, making it easy to track variations, if they exceed a certain length and files from your own library and other providers. Longer file names also scroll in the file browser, helping you find the exact asset you’re looking for faster and more easily.
- Zoom using the mouse wheel or trackpad has also been added to the sample engine. This speeds up finding the exact region of complex assets or those with multiple takes, allowing quick zooms in and out without needing to use the +/- buttons in the UI (which still operate as before).
What’s new in Weaponiser 1.3.0?
1: Updated Browser with new tags
With the recent v1.2.0a Weaponiser update making waves in the sound design community, we felt it was the time to improve the default browser. This uses our own tag-driven database to help you find sounds fast, and get them into Weaponiser’s powerful sample engine.
Since the plugin is no longer focused around Weapon design, this browser has been updated to quickly filter the vast range of Factory Content by popular categories. You’ll see that we have retained the most popular tags from the original Weaponiser tags.
This has now been updated to work at high-speed with all Factory Content and even add-ons libraries like Battle Bundle, Pulse Energy Weapons and Futurism.
2: Fixes and improvements
This new version of Weaponiser also contains a number of fixes to the plugin, reported by users, which improve stability and workflow.
- Fix to browser not showing all files or external disks when moving between LIbrary and File tabs
- Fix to browser search bar, where some folders would not appear until search was refreshed
- Fixes to Reverb routing and triggering
- Improved variation triggering (fixing a bug where occasionally pitch variation would not apply until after 5 triggers)
- Fix to crash using large presets
- Missing files can be found by folder, not just by file, improving workflow!
