The Secret Formulas Behind Hit Mixes
Let mix legend Chris Lord-Alge take care of your sound—while you focus on your music. Each of these plugins distills Chris’s entire mixing chains—for vocals, drums, bass, guitars and more—into a few easy-to-use controls, helping you achieve clear, punchy, exciting mixes in no time.
These are the mixing chains CLA uses to craft classics for Foo Fighters, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Nine Inch Nails and so many others—and now you have quick access to these chains in your mixes.
Produce Powerful Pro Vocals—Fast
The classic CLA Vocals plugins, used by hundreds of thousands of producers, musicians and engineers, brings a crisp, present quality to lead and background vocals, male or female. Tweak the timbre, adjust the ambience, add depth and clarity—DONE.
Open Up Your Drum Sound
CLA Drums elevates drum sounds—kick, snare, toms, overheads, room—like It’s like an audio combination lock: Put it on your drum sources, try Chris’s own presets, adjust quickly to taste if needed (often the presets will be enough!)—and hear your drum sound open up immediately.
Dominate the Low End
CLA Bass lets the bass occupy its rightful place in your mix. From full, round, purring tones, to a hint of aggressive crunch that barks its way through a mix, this clever effects chain takes the work out of finding a bold bass tone.
Bring Guitar Sounds to Life
Getting a convincing sound from direct guitar used to be difficult—but then came CLA Guitars. Whether you want sweet, clean tones, or ripping leads with heavy vibes, you’ll find them in this versatile effects chain.
Make Acoustic Instruments Shine
Nothing makes acoustic instruments shine more than gorgeous reverb, delay, compression, and hi-res EQ. From dreamy ambience to crisp clarity that cuts beautifully through a mix, CLA Unplugged delivers.
Take a Walk on the Wild Side
Innovative. Wild. Smart. CLA Effects is a grab-bag of pitch shifting, distortion, long and short delays with tempo sync, reverb, and EQ. It’s perfect for adding that “certain something” that lifts a mix out of the ordinary.

Waves plugins comply with the major audio plugin formats (VST3, AU, AAX).
If your DAW is not listed below, but supports VST3, AU or AAX, it should work fine with our software.

We will work to provide official ARM support for more host applications as they become Silicon-compatible. We will update this page with new developments as they are available.
