Maxon News: Price Increases, Updated EULA
On September 1, 2024, Maxon will increase prices of some Maxon products. Below, see the Maxon price increases, which happen on September 1.
Renew before the price change and save.
Did you know you can renew your Maxon subscription up to 60 days in advance for a seamless transition? If your subscription expires within 60 days of August 31, you can renew early and get current pricing. Consider renewing your subscription early to prevent software interruption and save money.
Rest assured, the new subscription starts on your renewal date, ensuring:
- No overlapping licenses – your renewal will not begin until the end date of your subscription.
- Uninterrupted service*
- Continuous access to your software
*Because licenses are fulfilled manually, you will not have a gap in service if you renew now, as you would if you renewed on the last day of your subscription. In general, renew at least 1-2 weeks early for a seamless transition.

Updated EULA
In other Maxon news, the Maxon EULA will also be updated on September 1.
These updates have been made to § 7, § 10.2, and § 16 of the EULA.
Here is what’s changing:
- ZBrush operating on iPad has been added.
- “Educational License for Schools and Universities” has been renamed as “Educational License for Classrooms”.
- A maximum number of license releases on different devices per day has been defined.
The updated agreements are effective as of September 1, 2024, and by using any Maxon products or services on or after that date, you consent to the published changes.
