INSYDIUM TerraformFX 2024.2 Sneak Peek – New Video

INSYDIUM shared a video for its upcoming TerraFormFX 2024.2, the terrain generator in INSYDIUM Fused.

This one was shared earlier this week. New features include a new advanced noise generator, tfNoise. Artists won’t be limited by Cinema 4D noise only. tfNoise creates unlimited, unique, customized noises.

Also new, tfDistribute allows users to distribute elements like rocks and foliage on the surface to make landscapes more realistic.

TerraformFX Sneak Peek – Advanced Terrain Shader – NEW

Bob from INSYDIUM walks you through the Advanced Terrain Shader, a release update coming soon.

The Advanced Terrain Shader allows users to quickly and intuitively create intricate landscape textures, working procedurally in any render engine that supports Cinema 4D shaders.

Generate, blend, filter, and adjust Customized Data Maps, and then apply color or rendering effects to terrains.

The library includes several color palettes sampled from satellite imagery of worldwide terrains, providing accuracy and realism.

Mask and color correct terrain features, like rivers, floods, and distributed rocks, with a single click. Blend to mix terrain colors with terrain data, for example, altitude, slope, and curvature.

In addition, you can also use bitmaps, Cinema 4D shaders, and fields. Export textures and layers at any resolution as 8, 16, or 32-bit TIFF files, for use in other tools.
