2D Ring Wipes – Transitions for Final Cut Pro X

Tangent FX 2D Ring Wipes is a collection of clean and elegant rings that guide a transitional radial wipe in Final Cut Pro X. Six carefully designed transition variations have control over each ring color, providing just enough control to tweak for your own needs. There’s no need to keyframe, as each of these has been natively designed and animated for Final CutPro X. Just drag, drop and go!

Applying a Transition

To apply one of the six transitions, select Tangent FX | 2D Ring Wipes in the Transition Browser. Select one of the six predesigned transitions, and then drag & drop it on your transition point.

Adjusting the Transition

These ring wipes are designed with great attention to their overall aesthetic. Because of this, you won’t find control over things like individual ring width or speed. (If you want more, we’ll make more. Just let us know!) You can adjust the overall speed of the rings by adjusting the transition length. There is also control over the color of each ring. If you select the transition, the color controls will appear in the transition Inspector. Each unique color in the transition will have a color control.

Note: Although you can set these transitions to any length, it is recommended that you use a minimum length of 2 seconds for these transitions.
