Light Show is a linear wipe that mixes glows, light spills, glint, distortions and environmental effects to produce a huge variety of looks. Multiple versions of the plug-in exist to satisfy any possible usage scenario an editor might run into:
- Light Show Filter – can be applied to an existing title or video clip, animated automatically or via keyframes. This is the most flexible version of this effect.
- Light Show Transition – can be applied between existing clips, or at the head/tail of a single clip on the timeline in Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro. This version animates automatically, according to the duration set for the transition.
- Light Show Title – available only in Final Cut Pro, where the effect is applied to a title created with the host’s own text engine. Please refer to the documentation for the Light Show Filter.
